Join our Clarke County Partners, at Clarke County Hospital for a Matter of Balance class. Matter of Balance is an evidence-based fall prevention program for older adults to increase activity levels by reducing fear of falling, improving strength, balance, and flexibility. A Matter of Balance workshop will be held
Gibson Memorial Library, 200 West Howard Street
Tuesdays 10:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
October 28th – December 16th, 2025
This 8-session workshop addresses the fears of falling and teaches fall prevention strategies.
Who should attend?
The program was designed to benefit older adults who:

Are concerned about falls
•
Have sustained a fall in the past
•
Restrict activities because of concerns about falling
•
Are interested in improving flexibility, balance and strength
•
Are age 60 or older, ambulatory and able to problem-solve
