Connections Area Agency on Aging is exploring the interest of people in the Lamoni community who are 60 years and older for noon meals Monday through Friday. The meals are offered at a suggested contribution rate of $5.25 per meal. The hot meals will be delivered each day between the hours of 11 and 1 p.m. to the homes of those participating in the program. Connections AAA is partnering with the Lamoni Ministerial Alliance to ascertain the level of interest in Lamoni. In addition, for the program to work, residents are invited to be a volunteer driver for delivery of the meals. The meals will be delivered to Crown Colony by a Connections AAA driver each weekday around 11:00 a.m. A Lamoni volunteer driver will drive approximately one day a week and when they cannot drive, a substitute driver will take their place.
