Finding that Right Tool – Adaptive Equipment for Aging Needs

Tools, Tools, Tools! As we get older, sometimes the simplest tasks become harder – and there are many tools to make the job easier. For many, assistive technology makes living independently safe and feasible. Assistive technology may become critical to the ability to perform simple activities you do everyday, such as bathing, dressing, cooking, and for just about every room of your home. Our presenter from Easter Seals Iowa Assistive Technology Center will demonstrate both simple and high tech devices that may assist individuals in their independent living, health, recreation, and skills to support well-being. Come and learn how devices can help you and/or your loved one maintain independence and make life easier.
