Connections Area Agency on Aging offers a variety of evidence-based health and wellness programs designed to help older adults improve their quality of life, manage chronic conditions, and maintain independence. These proven programs include:
- Walk With Ease® – A walking program developed by the Arthritis Foundation that helps reduce arthritis pain, improve balance and strength, and increase confidence in physical activity.
- Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention – Gentle movements that improve flexibility, balance, strength, and mobility while reducing the risk of falls.
- Matter of Balance – A falls prevention program that helps participants overcome the fear of falling while increasing activity levels and confidence.
- Bingocize® – A fun, interactive program that combines the game of bingo with exercise and health education to improve mobility, strength, and overall wellness.
- Mind Over Matter: Healthy Bowels, Healthy Bladder – An educational program that empowers older adults to better manage bladder and bowel health, improving confidence and quality of life.
- Powerful Tools for Caregivers – A workshop that helps family caregivers reduce stress, increase self-care, and develop practical caregiving skills.
