  new Medicare beneficiaries is held every 3 months.  The seminars are from
  6:00-7:30 at The Center in 714 S. Main in Council Bluffs. Pre-registratio
 n is required (recommended at least one week prior to presentation. There 
 is no cost to attend. \n\nAssisting new beneficiaries to increase their un
 derstanding of Medicare is an effort of SHIIP program (Senior Health Insur
 ance Information Program)\, sponsored by Connections Area Agency on Aging.
  Discussion topics will include who is eligible for benefits and timeframe
 s for applying\, understanding Medicare’s benefits and options\, supplemen
 ts\, Medicare Advantage plans\, prescription drug plans and protecting the
 ir Medicare benefits. There will be ample time for questions. \n\nTo pre-r
